On Display

As our final for the first semester, we were tasked with desiging a product for an upscale bar. I decided to focus on a display stand for expensive wines, something that would advertise them to customers in a business dinner.

The design process started with a lot of sketching to figure out what the final product would look like. Along the way, I realized that having a design that could hold bottles upright as well as sideways would be ideal, as expensive whiskeys and scotches would erode their corks if stored sideways.

After sketching, a few physical models were made to get an idea of proportion and I decided to render the model in 3D.
